Quarzite or Bust

Hello to all, hope things are going great at home. We have now left Yuma where the average age was 75 years and have entered Quartzite where the average is 80 years. I guess one good thing about it is that Dad and I have a good 20 years left that we can travel in the Motorhome. It is crazy here. Swap meets everywhere and Motorhomes and 5th wheels as far as you can see. It is warm today though I guess about 85 degrees outside.

Don't get me wrong. There are younger people here but you have to have your 4 wheelers and head out into the desert to catch up with them. The other thing is a lot of the men age 60 or so have their "Harleys". Wow we have seen some beautiful Harley Motorcycles and Three wheeled motorcycles here. Some people have a quater of a million dollars into their Motorhomes and cycles.

Let's see what can I tell you about the area;

The water in Yuma and Quarzite is full of natural salt so you don't drink the water. You see water stands all over town.

Oh another thing is that half of Canada is in Yuma. There are Koo-nooks (spelling) all over. They congregate here by the hundreds.

We are dry camping so we have to just open the window and let the air blow through. The really nice thing about down here is that the air is clear. There is no smog. It is amazing!!! The sky is a very clear and beautiful blue. Last night we sat out and looked at the stars which are not obstructed by city lights. The stars are numerous by the millions.

We went to church this morning and the "Branch" as they call it had about 450-500 people all ages from 50-99. We saw one baby with a young couple. They have 40 missionary couples to run the Branch here. So that was interesting.

We went to play golf yesterday and tried to get our golf swing back. Ha!! I had three holes that were 1 over par and the rest we won't talk about.

Sasha is doing great. She has decided that outside is where she likes to potty. Yea!! she is finally house broke. Hope I don't get her all confused when we get home and it is too cold to go outside.

Well we will be home Friday I think. We are doing great. The motorhome is awsome!!!!
